Question: I have a factory that is about 20 years old. I have been told by one of the original workers that there is an HV power cable feeding one of the machines in the back, running right down the middle of the building. Apparently, it is about 800mm deep, but we are laying a new stormwater pipe and I need to be sure where it is. The only issue is that the entire factory sits on a concrete slab. Can your locating equipment see through concrete?

Yes, that should be fine. If you can get us on the end of the cable – either at the machine or the switchboard – then we should have no issues in seeing that cable.
